Design

Our design service uses modern conceptual design tools. 3D modeling contributes to creation and innovation.

Our system of assistance to conception (Lectra Système) provides CAD data in order to facilitate the production process.

The computer aided manufacturing allows custom production dealing exactly with the terms of reference.

Fabrication

The cutting process of all the DUVIVIER upholstery materials is entirely automated.

The software developped by Lectra system insures that the leather is used to its utmost capacity. The pieces of leather are choosen taking into account the different levels of quality of the skin.

The optimisation of the cutting process allows us to manufacture products of a constant quality.

The seamstresses withold an ancient and unique know-how, guarantying a perfect finishing respecting the tradition of french Haute Couture.

The stuffing warrants exceptional comfort. The upholstery staff is capable of upholstering all shapes and sizes while respecting the imperatives of comfort.

Frames and suspension

An incomparable conception and use of materials.

DUVIVIER uses solid beech wood for the frames and beech multiply panels for the sides.

These materials guarantee the robustness of the assemblage, and being impervious to humidity, they do not distort.

All the DUVIVIER sofas are henceforth equipped with the Suspension SBD

B as bi-carrying because it is constituted by 2 parts which could do each separately the necessary support :

- A part springs
- A part foams

The combination of both types of suspension gives an extraordinary progressive comfort.

D as dynamics because it is efficient everywhere on the surface of the seating.

The spring suspension is made of

- steel horizontal springs rustproof ,
- connected with the frame by elements in recyclable dissimilar material containing a sole in Santoprene playing the role of shock absorber.

The foam suspension is made of

- a technical Hight Resilience polyurethane (28 kg/m3, 130N),
- with a HR foam. These materials guarantee the solidity of the assemblies, and little sensitive to the humidity, they avoid any deformation.

Cushion interiors

The cushion interiors are either in Fibre/Feather and foam HR in a cotton slip-cover, or in a foam HR in a protective slip-cover.

Foam HR = Foam High Résilience.

Fibre/Feather = A Mix of Fibre and Feather.

The Hight Resilience polyurethane foam is an association of carefully studied densities, assembled together, to guarantee comfort and longevity with an irreproachable aesthetics.
